I work with clients to set boundaries, articulate emotions, make sense of life events, and more. I tailor a treatment plan specifically to your needs and pull on strengths you already have! I practice a trauma informed approach and I'm trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a tool to heal from trauma. I often use Psychodynamic Therapy to gain an understanding of the root problem, and mix it with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to build an understanding of day to day thought patterns and identify ways to cope.
Since earning my Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago in 2018, I have experience working in private practice, education, and nonprofit settings. I have worked with individuals, couples, new moms, first responders, and young professionals. I also integrate Christian faith into therapy, if a client desires.
Chances are I've heard it before. I strive to create a safe space to rest, explore, make sense of life, and feel empowered to set and maintain healthy boundaries. Let's soften the hard moments and build an understanding of patterns to facilitate growth! Schedule a free 15 minute call to find out if we're a good fit to work together.
